Finally have some photos to show you from the night we dedicated the new store to God! We spelled “CFA” and then held hands and circled the building to pray. Amazing evening I’ll never forget.

Love that Truett Cathy made the decision to be closed on Sunday! Not only is it honoring to the Lord, but it gives a chance to rest, recharge, and refocus for the week ahead.

I am incredibly thankful for a wife who is 110% on this CFA journey with me. She could easily say, “You are 32, with a college degree… why aren’t I carrying Coach purses and having my nails done every week?!” She is so, so amazing! Thank you God!!

People should always be Priority

I honestly don’t understand Chick-fil-A operators, or those pursuing a store, who place money at the top of their priority list. I often want to ask them why they are even there. If they truly understood the heartbeat of the Cathy family… it would be about PEOPLE first. Thankfully, guys like Mike Urso, Jade Costen, Art TerKeurst, Robert Shaffer, Stockton Perry, andDean Sandbo get it right. So blessed to have these mentors in my life.

Was so excited to be back up front today (after 2 months training in the kitchen) at CFA, that I rapped for my boss, Dean Sandbo… Haha! It went like this:
“Let me just be blunt… I love serving up front. So whether it’s a handshake, high-five, smile, or nod… may everything I do be to the glory of God!”

A lady with 3 kids or so was hit from behind and her SUV flipped over on its side. Not to mention she is 26 weeks pregnant. This happened a mile from our CFA. We were able to run chicken minis and milk to the scene for the little kiddos while the ambulance took mom to the hospital to check on the baby inside. Happy to say all are doing well. Love that we can be there for our community!
