Celebrated the home-going of my buddy, Matt, with my CFA family today. Held it together until they ended the service with his favorite song, “Jesus Loves Me”. Though we grieve, i am soooo happy for him. Face to face with His Savior.

I love it when random guests come in to CFA & tell me that I could be an operator one day. Who knows?! I’m just taking it one nugget at a time… but it is really nice of people to think so.

A couple came in for breakfast this morning and the man asked if I was in high school, or now in college. He was dead serious. Let’s just say that I gave that man a hearty handshake.

The other day, Art TerKeurst walked into our store and asked members of our team a simple question: “What has God been teaching you lately?” ~ That little moment stood out to me. Sure, we sell chicken. But Jesus is #1, and we pray that our community sees Him through us.
