Sad to see our seniors go off to college, but excited for their futures! Keep God #1. Love you all!
Yes, God!
July 31, 2013
Lord, I want your love to shine through me today. Many guests and team members need you… I need you. So please help ME to not get in the way of YOU.
2nd mile service… at the dump!
July 26, 2013
Was at the landfill with Trey unloading our bi-weekly trash, when a little old lady backed her caddy in next to me. I ran over to help her with her stuff, when another lady across the way said, “My, you’re a sweetheart!” … I quickly responded with, “I work at Chick-fil-A. We LOVE doing this for people!” LOL.
Burdened for my “kids”
July 25, 2013
I’m falling in love with the Wesley Chapel/Weddington community. One of the biggest misconceptions is that the wealthy don’t need our prayers or compassion. They have everything, right? So far from the truth! Often, they need the most love and care. Glad God’s given me the opportunity to serve here.
I am a WELL KEPT MAN!
July 21, 2013
That moment when you realize you have to be up at 4:45am for work, and you don’t know where your keys, wallet, badge, uniform, etc are located…. only to discover your wife has all of it neatly stacked and ready to go for you. I’m a well-kept man! Thx, Rebekah!
Dream BIG!
July 21, 2013
I just got the urge to order a dump truck full of sand and build a temporary volleyball court in the back of the Target parking lot by our CFA. Why? An end of summer bash! What’s better than chicken, lemonade, and volleyball?! Maaaan, I’m not even sleeping and I’m already dreaming.
Coffee? Yes, please! Love PEOPLE!
July 18, 2013
Had coffee today with a gentleman I met through the window at Chick-fil-A. LOVE building relationships with people!
Free Food!
July 11, 2013
ANYONE! Yes, I mean ANYONE who comes to see me at work tomorrow… I will give you free food. One catch: You must be dressed like a cow. Hasta mañana!
How to Motivate your Team
July 7, 2013
To all employers trying to find that invaluable tip/trick of how to motivate your employees to perform at a high level…. here goes: Care. That’s it. Simple isn’t it? But so many drop the ball. Like all relationships, time is key. Don’t just throw a gift card at them, rather take the time to encourage/praise… ask about their lives, etc. If I feel valuable to a company, even better, to my boss, personally… WOW!
